The Magic of Science – Environmental education is an important part of this science assembly for schools.

How much plastic waste is in the Pacific ocean?
The Ocean Cleanup is a nonprofit company trying to rid the world’s oceans of plastic waste. While 1.8 trillion is a mid-range value for the total count, their calculations estimated that it may be ranging from 1.1 to up to 3.6 trillion pieces. . Boyan Slat, who founded the organization in 2013 at the age of 18, called the most recent testing phase a success, but said there’s still much to be done.
Microplastics (plastic particles smaller than 5 mm) have gained global attention as a pervasive and preventable threat to the health of aquatic ecosystems. The San Francisco Bay Microplastics Project provides critical data on sources and pathways of microplastics in the Bay Area, and generate scientifically supported, regional recommendations for solutions to plastic pollution.

Magicians create with their art an environment where everything seems possible and inspire scientists to explore new frontiers.. Albert Einstein said: “the most beautiful experience is the mysterious – it is the true source of science and art”.
Magicians use apparatus that requires knowledge of engineering. Information technology is a new method in magic with magic tricks that use electronics.The relationship between science and magic is bi-directional. Magicians use science to create the illusion of supernatural magic, while scientists study magicians and their craft to learn more about the world around us.
In our science assembly for schools “The Amazing Science Whiz Show”, we present theatrical illusions that seemingly breach the laws of the physical sciences. We demonstrate the science principals to fit the grade levels in our elementary school assembly and middle school assembly.
